Vet update in Another Open Diary refugee

Okay... looks like Scouty will be fine. We took her to the vet this morning. Yes it is an abscess, and a doozy of one. But she had her butt shaved, an antibiotic shot and something for her fever... 15 minutes and $150 bucks later we were out of there with instructions to keep an eye on her. If she doesn't start to feel better by Tuesday we have to go back and spend a ton more money on her, so fingers are firmly crossed that the antibiotic will do the trick! Our credit card can't survive too many more veterinary emergencies...
