It’s that time of year when education gets going. I’m carrying on with my Open University courses, okay… well I’m having a break beacuse I’m typing this haha! Salena has gone back to university, armed with her BSc she is now starting an MSc. I have a good role model to follow for studying and getting a good qualification!

Jasmine is walking well now and she is talking, a few words here and there, mostly aimed at me.. “mummy food” “Mummy hug” “Mummy sleep” “Mummy play”.... yes Jasmine, but you also need to know that “mummy study” and “mummy work”. Bless her little sweet smile though. Every day she grows that little bit more and is starting to develop her own little personality.

I’m going to inroduce her to some more music. Hoping it might keep her entertained a little, or maybe a bit of background to keep her happy when playng so I can work - I do work/study well withsome of my favourite music playing. I’m wondering if she would like Noel Gallagher.

As I said, Salena has gone back to start her MSc (proud younger sister here!!) which means that Jasmine moves back into Salena’s room while she’s away, giving me a little more privacy… so when my parents were away over the weekend taking her, Scott came over and, well, my sex life has got a little more active again (and much needed too, felt like an amazing release!). It was nice waking up with him… and even nicer when he brought me up a cup of tea in bed.

So the cycle of academic year has restarted. Time for me to get my lunch, and Jasmine’s, then back to the books this afternoon. Wave harmonics for physics. Trigonometry is useful here - sine waves, cosines and so on. I’ll stop there before I spout more technobabble than a Star Trek script.
