This past Friday, my husband asked if I could pick him up early from work. With it being a three day weekend, the office was dead and he’d cleared it with his boss to finish out the day at home. I suggested we go on a lunch date when I picked him up, and he wholeheartedly agreed to that.
When I arrived to pick him up, he asked where I wanted to go for lunch. “I don’t know, you’re always saying ‘I should take you here or here, it has really good food!’ from your many lunches out,” I replied.
We wound up at a really neat Mexican food place. Y’all have heard of “Tex-Mex”, I assume. Well, this wasn’t Texan inspired, but rather, New Mexico influenced cuisine. The atmosphere was really very fun and the food was delicious. I enjoyed my time out with Jay and my Joy Bucket was well poured into.
I’m learning how to meditate. The kids are all recovering from their colds. The youngest, Kay, has 15 overdue lessons from the virtual school. I think we’ll tackle some today, and some tomorrow, since it’s a three day weekend and we’d like to start fresh on Tuesday.
Steps.
