receeded.

I have been preceeded.

Things in life can be preceeded
By happenings out of one’s control.
Factors unknowingly unfruitlful,
Superficially replaced at a toll.

Watching a man be torn down
From the pedestal that ‘twas once high,
I’ve replaced my courage with fallacy
To preserve awful lie.

A lie of life that I’ve lived,
Searching through my family routes;
I’m sad to see that one is down,
And the others are on the outs.

My parent’s faithless secret,
Has forced us to dig the depths;
I’m lost, unfocused and shameless
And embarrased to spill the rest.

My solemn words from a night so bad,
Will give his ample rest;
My inner fight from first to worst
Will bring me closer to best.
