the feeling i left you,
was just a taste of my offering;
there’s more
if only the words would come.

i’m sorry i couldn’t give –
i’m sorry your loss was more.
someday i’ll feel what you feel
until then i’ll speak no more.

halfway to gone
midway to home;
sleeping for that dream,
sleeping indefinitely.
