Heart Quilt

Where are you going –
Sneaking away from your heart again?
Even though the tears are flowing,
You can’t let them flow over this man.

Lay down your sulking heart –
Drain the rivers of lost desire.
Use the needles to knit your soul
And release what’s gone to fire.

Tomorrow will be better.
