Grandma, It’ll be Okay
“It’ll be Okay,”
They spoke in her ears
As the night drawn over
Her smitten years.
When somber blessings
And well wishing were sent;
The Lord did come
And to him she did repent.
She was taken away from us tonight;
This rainy night in June.
Under stars that twinkled under night
And flowers that stayed awake to bloom.
Tonight you passed
And your life ended fast
Of that cancers that did consume.
I hope to see you again
But I don’t know where or when;
I love you, grandma, that’s true.
