Over and Again

An empty hat
Filled with nothing –
Aching for loyalty
Of love last lost.

In time I’ll heal
And perhaps I’ll feel
Those things that bring me home
Over and again.

I swear to pieces
That time left fleeces
Ourselves from which we create
Sullen clonings of ourselves.

I needed to write. This is what came out. Don’t enjoy.
