i write a poem

i write a poem
to state my mind;
to open fantasies
and record time.

i write a poem –
about you, about me;
so that i can remember
all that fancy.

in pain,
in hate,
in sullen lust;
i write a poem –
   just for us.

in fashion of form
without light till morn’ i write a poem
because i must.
