Older poem I wrote years ago…

You

All of the time
That I sit here alone
I cannot help but wonder
What you would think
If each of us were holding the other.

I feel as if you sometimes think
That my love’s not true.
Well, my love,
I’ll just prove it to you.

And so, my love, I care so much.
Without you what would I do?
Be lost and alone, the rest of my life
Waiting to have just you.

I still remember the first time we kissed,
The feeling that went through my body –
Holding and touching every inch of you
And softly caressing you through.

That’s an old one. I found it yesterday.
