from the beginning

From the begining
all things seemed equal.
Simple flirting
making you blush and smile.
Nights talking forever
with handwritten notes to follow.
Some wet with the scent of your perfume
so i wouldn’t forget.
Some wet with tears
from past regret.
Visits into your world
where you were untouchable.
Talks of tracking in my world
and then facing its striking reality.
From cuddling nights
to now being cold and coverless.
Your promises seem promising
with actions seemingly effortless.
Melancholy in my mind
causing my writings to not rhyme
without reason so you see –
my baby girl reopen to me.
