Today was the last doctor's visit for the study that sponsored my WW membership.

I had a 9:30 appointment - fasting - got there and WAITED for over an hour!!! I was SO hungry. Even though I had a snack bar with me, when I left, all I could think of was FOOD.

I got to the buffet and went first for the cauliflower... of course. Then chicken, chick peas, and other items. I tried the beets - I just don't they they were at ALL cooked... left them on the plate. I had each dessert - small portions of a carrot porridge and a thin rice pudding. ALL great. Expensive but SO tasty. It was breakfast and lunch... and the way I feel, it might be dinner also.

I love going to buffets, and have to limit myself to one a month.

I have never had Indian food though I do want to try it some day. :)

Although I love to try to cook "ethnic" foods - and have many of the spices, oils and recipes, there's nothing like the "real" thing!
One of the joys in living in NYC is being able to eat in every country from anywhere else in the world.
