I don’t expect anyone to be interested but I have feeeelings so I wanted to write some stuff down lol!
It was the quickest 2 and a half hours ever!
Things I loved:
So much! -
Cap’s beautiful beard
When we first see the Guardians and Gamora is singing along to the song, I love that she’s relaxed so much since the first guardians and is so much happier
Quill feeling threatened by Thor and mimicking his voice, I really loved Chris Pratt in the whole film
That Vision and Wanda were stood outside a shop with a sign saying ‘we’ll deep fry your kebab’ in Scotland!
That Loki stayed ‘good’ and called himself Odin’s son and that he got to say ‘we have a Hulk’ this time.
Seeing Bucky smile! I feel like you don’t really see that in the other films except The First Avenger. Just Bucky in general really, I think Sebastian Stan might be my new celebrity crush.
Chris Pratt’s Star Lord Hair
Rocket giving Thor an eyeball he’d stolen
Drax - especially ‘why is Gamora?’ and being convinced he could make himself invisible!
Mantis - especially ‘We kick names and take ass’ she’s so sweet
Sam’s ‘awkward’ at Natasha’s reaction when Brice showed up
Spidey coming up with another plan based on a ‘really old movie’ and then screaming at Mantis not to put her eggs in him!
Quill and Spidey bonding over Footloose
Tony making Spider-Man an official avenger
Spidey beating Thanos up with Dr Strange’s help. ‘Magic!’, ‘Magic again!’, ‘Magic with a kick!’
I love T’Challa, he’s so chill and kind and awesome
Rhodey telling Bruce to bow to T’Challa
I love that Bruce has gone from calling Hulk ‘the other guy’ to embracing him and asking for his help, even if Hulk wasn’t cooperating!
Getting to see Bucky and Cap reunite
When the crowd charges and Cap and Black Panther break away from the pack
When Thor turned up in Wakanda and starting kicking ass with his new axe and Bruce getting so excited to see him!
Thor telling Cap that he’d copied his beard
‘I am Groot’ ‘I am Steve Rogers’
Bucky picking up Rocket and Rocket asking for his arm!
Black widow and Okoye defending Scarlett witch. I really liked that there were so many awesome women in this film
Stuff that was hard to watch:
I thought that Loki would probably die in this film but it was still so sad and happened so soon! I love that he didn’t defect to Thanos’ side but that made it even more sad.
Thor telling Rocket about everyone and everything he’s lost
Gamora not realising that she was what Thanos loved and then her reaction when she did realise. I love Gamora and I love Zoe Saldana so I hope she’s not permanently gone. I’ve read theories that she might be trapped in the soul stone so fingers crossed she can come back.
Quill finding out about Gamora
Wanda having to kill Vision only to watch him be brought back and be killed again
Bucky calling out to Steve before he died
Rocket having to watch Groot die again
Spider-Man was the hardest to watch, Tom Holland was so good. Ugh, I didn’t cry but that part made me feel a bit pukey.
Tony being left alone at the end. Especially because at the beginning he’d said to Pepper about wanting children and then he had to watch Peter die.
Cap’s ‘Oh God’ at the end.
Also I’m sad that Cap and Tony didn’t get to make up!
I think we’re probably going to go and see it again next weekend :D
