When You Say Goodbye So You Can Say Hello in The One Where I Dream

I saw the update via Facebook that OpenDiary will officially be gone in two weeks. It kind of gave me anxiety. Sure, I didn't update like I used to, but that was where my blogging love began. Ten years later and here I am.

I have tried logging in so I can save all of my entries, but I keep getting "server is too busy" error messages. I hope that sometime within the next 2 weeks I can at least save everything.

Whether I want to or not, I am saying good-bye to OpenDiary and the diary name Ashala. (I don't even want to get started on that nickname...)

I am happily starting "over" as an adult with the new name The One Where She Dreams. About two years ago I started a blog to post recipes, diy ideas, etc. and I named my blog the same thing. I came up with it as a play of the TV show Friends. All the episodes were "The One Where..." I found it fitting.

So here is to new places, fresh starts, and getting back into the swing of things!
