Hoshiko in The View from the Terrace

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts. I am still not too well myself but wanted to post a photo of Hoshiko. My daughter named him as a kitten. It means Star child in Japanese, the boys always called him Scruffy. We’re waiting for Chris to call in case he wants to say goodbye. I said goodbye earlier, he looked as though he was sleeping, so peaceful.

They do, I still keep seeing him on the window sill out of the corner of my eye. We have 3 other cats, Hoshiko's brother, Macy, Kitty a little 16 year old tabby and Suki who was my daughter's originally, but there is still a hole in our lives.

I can imagine. When my Jamie died years ago I was convinced I heard him miaowing in the house (he was our only cat at the time) for ages afterwards!
