Ok, well the layout seems a little cleaner than OD. I suppose that's nice. This is going to take a little getting used to.
I should really start my new diary with a poem. This one was started a while back and I eventually completed it. It's not a long poem but it's got a certain energy that I quite like.
This is my ship
I guess it's sailing
the perception of my attentions fading failing
but the turbines turning and I'm trailing at the tail end
as I bow to the waves and turn I'm feeling frail and
I plough into the iceberg
and now I'm sinking
this cold inside my chest has gotten me to thinking
and my best guess is this is just another chain link
in my anchor dragging me down into the brink
between the chasm
and the cliff
of madness, I had this, I thought that I had missed
a trick that pricked my heart and forces cogs to shift
on the inside of this kind of strain wherin the pain gains
power over words and fires up the engines
and the fire starts to burn as I start to sail again.
