Today is a special day here, an auspicious day. This festival is called Ugadi and it means a new year. Well, it’s a traditional festival and everyone in the family celebrated it together. We had lunch together and went to the temple together. It was all great.
As for my studies, I didn’t get to study at all. And also it’s not even the start of summer yet and it is so hot here. 36 C/ 98 F. Great start of the new year eh? My body is usually hot and trust me when I say, I literally get so hot when I sleep that the person sleeping next to me starts sweating. My husband always complains about it while hugging me. And now, It feels like someone’s frying me on a hot pan. I am afraid of the coming summer. I never thought I would say this but I miss the cold.
