Thanks so much to everyone who commented on my last entry, I really appreciated hearing what everyone thought and your words of sympathy. I'm sorry I'm so rubbish at replying to each comment individually but it means a lot that you guys take the time to read and comment.
I did speak to drew about it. Him and my dad work together, they're carpenters and my dad owns the company, drew works for him. I felt bad for 'burdening' him with the information but I'm glad that I did speak to him. He was annoyed with dad but reckons it's just an ego-boost kind of thing, they work such long hours together that he says dad wouldn't have time for anything else. We both agreed that if either of us brought it up with him he would get defensive and angry so we've said that we'll leave it for the moment. I do feel bad, when I found out about Andrew cheating on me, one of the worst things was all the people that knew that it was happening when I didn't. But, right now, I can't bring myself to bring it up.
I've always thought that my parents do love each other deep down but they don't get on that well a lot of the time. My dad works SO much, and when he's at home he's usually doing paperwork, so they don't really get to spend that much time together, and my mum isn't the most affectionate. But I suppose the only people who really know everything about a relationship are the people in it.
Paul and I have been on opposite shifts this week so I've not seen him (except from across the floor at work) and I've really missed him. Sunday is our 1 year anniversary of when he asked me to be his girlfriend, we're going out for dinner and cocktails tomorrow evening which I'm really excited about! I kind of wish I had lost some weight so I could wear something nice, but I'm going to do my best to look nice and not dwell on it because I don't want it to spoil the evening.
I've been rewatching a lot of sex and the city this week and Africa,s been keeping me company...
I can't believe January is finished already!
