I have slight feeling of excitement about Prosebox now I've started using it.
There moves afoot to make it illegal to smoke in a car carrying children. It doesn't sit comfortably with me. I think freedom should be about giving people the opportunity to do the right thing. Removing the opportunity to do the wrong thing just makes people more reliant on the state, and generally pissed off. That said, I cannot deny that the ban on smoking in public places has made my world an inestimably better place. So, I'm a hypocrite.
The story of the broken washing machine continues. After eSpares failed to find a part for me I went to the Electrics Warehouse via Amazon. They appeared to have the part, but then changed their mind. I then found 2 on ebay, but the one I chose turned out to be wrong. That was my fault. I had to call the seller by phone and cancel the order. That was LM Electrical in Bristol. They didn't have the right part either. So I cancelled that and then called GLM spares in Birmingham who also claimed on ebay to have it. And they still claimed to have it on the phone, so I ordered it and it should come tomorrow. Honestly, it's only a replacement heating element.
