As usual, I don’t have a lot of extra money at the moment so I’m making a goal to sell stuff and make $100 minimum this week. I have a bunch of things to sell I haven’t put up for sale yet so hopefully some of them go. We aren’t having any more kids so I’m selling my activity mat, bouncer, bumbo, bassinet, bundle me bag for the car seat, a stationary chair I had her sleep in when she was a newborn and my breastfeeding pillow. If they all sell, the total will be well over $100. I will see how they do on my local buy and sell page and then post them on kijiji if I need to. I had my breast pump up for a little while and one day I got messaged from a mom who just had her baby in the hospital and who saw my post on kijiji and there it was-sold. So, kijiji is definitely a great place to sell stuff. It just takes time sometimes :)

I’m still using the field agent app on my phone now and then. A couple weeks ago I struck gold with it and there were a ton of super easy mystery shops near my house. So, one night after all the kids were in bed, Mike was watching basketball in the basement so we’re weren’t watching anything together anyways so I went out and did a ton of these mystery shops. They took me 1-2 minutes each. I did 8 of them in an hour and they were $6.75 each so I made $54. Then a day later a did a few more and the next day I did a few more. I ended up doing 18 of them over a few days which sounds like a lot but this is all I had to do.....they were all at either gas stations or convenience stores. I had to walk in and go to the counter and say, “I use to buy Pall Mall menthols but menthols are banned now so what do you suggest?” (Pall Malls are cigarettes and no I don’t actually smoke. As long as they said the brand “Next Green” in their response then they passed their mystery shop. If they didn’t, I had to discreetly take a quick picture in the store, say thanks, take a quick pic of the outside of the store and that’s it. If they said “Next Green” in their response I told them they passed their mystery shop and would be receiving a $20 gift card soon and I just had to record their name. Super easy!! It was funny because one lady was like “I don’t know.......maybe you could start chewing gum?” since they don’t sell menthol cigarettes anymore. Another guy said, “you could always put Vicks vaporub on your cigarette and smoke it. Ew! Just ew lol. So, I actually found all those mystery shops kind of fun......and I got $121.50 in my paypal for doing them :)

Summer usually always wakes twice a night to nurse but the last couple of nights she’s been waking FOUR times?!! What the heck? I’m so tired :( I don’t know if she’s getting teeth or what but it sucks and I hope it ends soon.

We took the kids swimming yesterday at the YMCA. It costs $13 for the family and we were there an hour and a bit. It was open swim from 12-4 but we had to wait for Summer to wake from her nap before we could go so an hour and a bit was all we could do but it was still a decent amount of time. We haven’t been swimming with the kids since the summer and it’s so cool to see how much better the boys are at it. Miles used to complain to even get in the water but now he was fine with his puddle jumpers and at this place he can reach the bottom now so that was cool since it was the first time no one had to hold him. And Cody was brave enough to have his feet off the ground with his puddle jumpers on which is new also :) My boys are growing up and it’s nice to see!! No whining or crying= a great time lol. Mike and I passed Summer back and forth and she loved the water. She was splashing and kicking and looking super cute in her pink bathing suit with hearts all over it :) We will definitely go again this winter.

We recently booked a night at Great Wolf Lodge at the end of next month (indoor water park+ hotel). So I’m sure the kids will love that. We go every winter as something fun to do since winter sucks lol. We’re dragging my MIL with us even though she was like, “nahhh I don’t think I’ll go this time” haha. Yes you are! 3 on 3 is way easier than being outnumbered. She doesn’t mind going. She’s retired now and super worried about money even though she has plenty so Mike said he’d pay for the hotel, she could just buy one meal or something. I’m sure she’ll enjoy it. I’m looking forward to it even though it’s not the easiest packing for all of them and figuring out how/when the baby is going to nap while we’re there and stuff but I’ll figure it out!

Well, I’m off to have my breakfast and do a few things on swagbucks before the baby wakes from nap number 1. I’ve only been using swagbucks daily for 2 months and I’ve made $270 on it. I cash out in paypal in $25 increments. Here’s my link again if anyone wants to try it:

I'm sure you'll make a killing on the kid stuff; looking at our local buy/sell Facebook page, sometimes it looks like the baby/kid stuff is the only stuff that actually sells.

I can't believe you're doing so well on all the apps! I can barely get anything out of Swagbucks. I hardly ever qualify for surveys, plus I'm too suspicious to sign up for all the "free" stuff from third party vendors. Watching videos doesn't get me very far.

Yeah, certain baby/kid stuff sells really well. Like, I knew when I bought my jolly jumper that it would resell just fine and it did. I bought and sold it for the same price :)

I'm not sure why you're not getting many surveys. Maybe it really does favor people with kids or something? Sorry. And yeah, I haven't done very many of the bigger offers because I've heard some of them are scams. I run some videos every day to get to my goal but that's just because if I hit my goal every day you get a bonus at the beginning of the next month. It can be annoying though. Someone just suggested the apps Easy Shift and MileUp to me..... no idea what they are but I'll have to check them out

I wanted to become a mystery shopper, but I had to get a special card which was like $90 so I never did it. 😬

lol a special card? I've never heard of that. I actually used to do full mystery shops in the past that were sooooo difficult and stressful. You would have to remember a zillion things and it wasn't always for great pay. So this new thing I'm doing which takes like a minute or two is amazing!

Yeah, a sherriff's card, I think because it's of the gambling here in Vegas.
