Catch up in Sparkly, frosty wintertime 2016 (started a little late!)

Rollercoaster rides are the way of the world right now. From hysterical giggles to growling; climbing, dropping, climbing, dropping. sigh.

On top of this I can’t run because of a deeply seated chesty cough. On top of this is a fun case of conjunctivitis. It started at climbing lessons on Tuesday, spotted at about 7pm. By 9.30pm I had breastmilk and a pipette! It’s so good that I know people! Two days later and it has all but cleared up ☺ it’s still a little red in the corner but I’ve had no scratchiness nor pus all day! Breast milk really is the nectar of the gods.

I visited the secondary school that we want T to go to today, specifically to visit the senco. She was really lovely and said she could pretty much guarantee that T would be going there. I haven’t taken it as written yet, I still wasn’t to see it in writing before I celebrate or tell T. However, the senco was horrified at the attitude of the council over not allowing T to have a statutory assessment, therefore taking away her opportunity to access an autism unit. I’ve promised to photocopy and post all the info I have so that she can contact them.

One more day of school before half term, although the way I feel, I’m really tempted to call in sick. I’ve struggled through the last couple of days. But we have so many members of staff off at the moment that it really wouldn’t be fair.

That’s all I got I’m afraid, I’m too tired.

Ooh we've got another week until half term.

I need a breastmilk friend for times like those!

Hope you are feeling better soon! I hope the school works out for T - it seems like it's always such a struggle, over here too, to get the right spot for kids who aren't the typical student. Whatever the "typical student" is.

I don't know if running is cathartic for you, but how rude of your cough to keep you from it when it sounds like it's needed! Hope you feel better soon.

Trust me, running keeps me sane!

Sorry you're feeling so crap :( Never would've expected breast milk to be helpful in that realm! Awesome!

Looks like T may have an opportunity after all??
