While we are busy getting our current house ready for sale there is little we can do on the Lazy Square itself … That’s not to say we’re not visiting the field .. We take chairs and sun shelter and tea making facilities and drink tea and dream of what will be and watch what’s happening to neighbouring sections… Occasionally we have a local walk by and chat. All interested as to what our plans are and tell us of what they know others are doing… Usually when we visit a number of cars drive down the cul-de-sac and drive back again.. We think they are people looking at the area to buy/move/rent …..

Other than that its quiet and peaceful.. The skylarks rise into the sky until almost invisible and then sing their songs on the wind. Harrier hawks cruise the area regularly looking for a potential meal, sometimes startling a rabbit or hare in neighbouring fields. Magpies shout out their “twardle-oodle-ardle-wardle”  at each other as they search for food in the distance. The air is fresh, off the sea. Cool and clean and all too often I fall asleep there…If only it would stay this way ..

It's nice to hide out in a field of grasses...to tamp down an area and sit or lie there knowing nobody can see you from the ground. I love the top photo.
