Dear impirities
It’s time to go

But if we leave
Then you’ll never know

Dear What if’s and Could Be’s
I truly wish you’d flee

We know your heart, young one
So ask us to stay. Let us come out and play

Dear Lust and Logic
Tell my heart to listen to my mind

But your heart is on your sleeve
You’ll never be able to hide

Dear heart and soul
I wish to keep you pure

But you’re leaving us to ponder
For the next 100 years

Side Note: it’s interesting to be able to express something that is the opposite of how I actually feel. I have never cheated on Alex. The fact that I’ve wanted to leave him for a year is overbearing. It’s coming.
