PELOSI TAKES IT! in Day by Day

The conservatives (aka “alt-right” aka “White supremists”) tried very hard to stop her because their plan is to wipe out every opponent but they fell short, as they will over and over. I’m not a huge Pelosi fan but I despise those who try to fix the game.
The further right my old party moves, the further left I move, which is why, after 43 years, I changed parties. Now I am actively campaigning to turn Congress into a Democrat majority. Having a Republican president and a Republican congress is far too dangerous for this country, especially when it is led by a half-wit with no understanding of basic American laws.
Can someone tell me how to block this user named Hermes from coming in to read my public entries? He’s obviously young, uneducated, his entries reveal a filthy mouth and he’s trying to start an argument on my page. How do I get rid of this kid? Never mind. I erased him. Even better.

I think that when you write about your nonprofit, you are inspiring others to get off their duffs and do something for someone else.

My non-profit is only in the early stages. I did not mean to imply that I was never sweet or kind...I have many good qualities, but I'm not Mother Theresa, either.

No, but people try to put me on a pedestal at times and its not appropriate. Our Thanksgiving was fairly quiet: the two boys, one g/f, and one old college buddy. Quiet holidays seem to be the norm for us these days. Easier!

Yes, I like the smaller, quieter holidays also. Though I do miss the dinners with a minimum of 15 people, since so many of those people are gone now.

I do and I have. My time of earth is limited and I have much I want to get done in this world. Wasting my time or energy on someone who is looking for an argument cuts into that.
Yours, though, is a tougher situation because it is bureaucratic and has the potential of immediate, adverse effect on your very life. Mine is a fight for hearts, yours is a fight for life.

Bureaucracy in the hands of someone still in a learning process. HIs heart is in the right place but he shouldn't act without knowing more and when his gut even says to pause.

Just watching Trump's opening moves chills my heart, so I understand the fear of trusting a rookie. Unfortunately, in both cases, ego may prevail to the detriment of others. Prayers that we can both beat back the flames that threaten.
