Today was just one of those off days, but for the most part I ignored it. The weather was just awful. Cold and gray and drizzly.

This morning at the gym I got the one person that actually looked at the screen when she put my number in and she discovered my payment didn't go through for this month.

"Why not?" I asked.

"I don't know, it just didn't. We can run it again and I'll waive the process fee."

Ok. So I go back out in the cold drizzling wet to fetch my wallet, and provide her with the info she needs and my card. Then she wants to know if I wanted to take my picture today.

"Are you kidding? I can't think of anything I'd less like to do right now," I replied. Seriously, in my over-sized tourist shirt from The Thing and short gym shorts, just woke up an hour before, hair sticking up and rain on my glasses. Sure, take my picture. She pointed out that they'd be the only ones who saw it and i might as well just get it over with because how great looking am I planning on being the next time I come to the gym? Not very. So once again I gave in to her evil and had my picture taken. After all that I only managed 20 min. on the elliptical before I was ready to leave.

I went by the book store because they took pictures of two of my ereader cozies and put them on their website with pricing, so I realized if any of their customers actually wanted to buy one it would probably help if they were actually at the store. I also brought a few more, and asked if they wanted to see if they generated any interest. The boss lady wasn't there, but the nice gal that was there was totally up for taking my cozies. Katie, the younger woman that runs the book club, expressed interest in a custom-made cozy with a Harry Potter theme, so I hope she gets in touch with me about that.

I scampered across the parking in the cold and drizzle to Safeway and got charge $3 to use the ATM because that Safeway has a Wells Fargo in it for some reason. I withdrew money for rent, which pretty much cleaned me out, and headed up to Chuck's for breakfast.

The nice lady, Kat, that runs the Chuck Wagon in the mornings for breakfast was there, and told me they closed at 10:00am, and if she didn't have a catering job she would totally stay and make me something. She did offer to make me a waffle, but I told her it was ok. I'd come again next week.

I was really hungry and really should have just gone home and made something, but i decided to go to sushi instead, where I gorged myself to the tune of about $20. I was not pleased with myself afterward, but I sure enjoyed that sushi.

Then I went home and played Warcraft for awhile. I leveled up my leatherworking skill and did some quests in the Dread Wastes. I chatted with Chance while I was doing most of this. He told me about his dating woes, and about his book club meeting.

I tried to make some corned beef and red potatoes this evening, but the cute little corned beef I got at Chuck's needed more time than I expected, and the potatoes had to be taken out because they were getting mushy. Then after another hour I just decided the corned beef was done enough and had dinner anyway. I couldn't do laundry because Mary was still in the process of doing her laundry. She forgot to turn the dryer on yesterday, then forgot she still had clothes in the washer and had to wash them again. So she turned the washer on and headed off to party somewhere.

At eight I went up to Sharis to meet my coworkers Meli, Christine, and Brytanni for our little crochet club, and much to my complete un-surprise, Christine and Brytanni totally flaked. So Meli and I had pie and she started teaching me how to knit. I was totally getting the hang of it when I realized it was 10:30pm and I have to be to work by 9:00am tomorrow. I had a nice time, though, and I'm excited about learning to knit. So that was a nice ending to my day.
