A Silly Day in Ponderings of the Universe

I had the greatest day on Sunday. I don’t know if it’s that I’ve been so busy lately and haven’t had a lot of time to get out or if it was just what I needed to get out of my head for a while.

Aaron and I met up with Eric and Genevieve and we had a delicious, giant
breakfast at Fat Nat’s Eggs. I had eggs Benedict with corned beef hash in place of the usual Canadian bacon/ham with a side of hash browns. I also split an order of 2 GIANT blueberry pancakes with Genevieve. Mmmm…

After that, we went mini golfing! I had bought a Groupon for a local place and it was going to expire later this month. The place we went was so stupid and run down in the best possible way. The various critters/obstacles we had to golf around/through were hilarious and in a state of disrepair. There was a giant constipated looking owl and a dinosaur lifting up a caveman with a painted on beard and mouth that looked remarkably like a ball gag. It was incredibly amusing!

Then, we stopped at a local bubble tea shop and I had a super refreshing peach slush type of thing. I definitely want to go back soon when I’m in more of a bubble tea mood!

We then wandered around at Target for a very long time, looking at and making fun of random stuff. Genevieve’s family was celebrating Mother’s and Father’s Day late, so we also tried to help her pick out gifts.

Finally, we went back to my house, ate frozen pizzas and played a fantastic game of Exploding Kittens! So much silliness and fun!

I need more ridiculous days like that :)
