I haven’t written in any great detail yet about how my marriage ended and all of that, I’ve just shared a few stories of things that happened between us. I’ve written about how she had sex with other men, although this was not really what ended it. But I feel like it’s only fair that I point out that I was technically the first one to have sex with someone else.
It’s not quite like it sounds though, I wasn’t exactly cheating.
It started innocently enough with a summer beach trip with the ex and one of her friends. We had a nice day together and we were driving home in the early evening. The plan was to stop and drop off the friend and then head home.
During the drive, the friend started talking about a recent break-up and how she was disappointed that the relationship was over. Then she added that he was particularly terrible at oral sex and would hopefully find a new boyfriend who was better at it. It was only a mildly awkward comment because we did have the type of friendship where we’d talk about things like this, and there had been plenty of sex talk during the course of the whole day together.
