Man, I truly wish it would quit raining. At least a day or two. The ground is so rotten. Can’t cut my grass. ZTR gets stuck. Haven’t been salt water fishing this year. Water stays muddy and fresh inland. Fresh water fishing has been ok. Went to a private stocked pond with my Grandson Saturday week ago. We had a good time. He Bass fished while I fly fished. He caught about 10 or so keeper Bass. Nothing real big but a good mess. I caught about 15 big Blue Gill Perch on one of my hand tied spider bugs. Always makes me feel good to catch fish on my own invented bugs. Had a big fish fry Sunday after church. All is well on the Chloe farm. Rabbits, chickens, Llama’s, goats, cows, quails, alligators in the bayou, all doing just fine. Alligators get a 30–30 bullet when I can see them. They catch my baby goats. Can’t eat the alligators, just have to leave them for turtles to demolish. t we down here have the right to protect our property from the nuisance. Used to have Nuisance alligator licensed hunters here that would come trap them. But, since the population explosion of gators we have to many so we have to take care of the nuisance our selves. But they want let us harvest them, so they just go to waste.
Anyway all is well. Preaching at the prison when it is my turn. Enjoy meeting with the guys there. Always a blessing. Work is moving along. I plan to officially retire next June. Wife will be old enough to get on Medi-care and we can get a Health insurance supplemental plan to help with our old age heath cost. So ridiculously expensive these days. Got to have it though. Or, they will come get what you own. What do the rest of you retirees do? Advice is welcome… better run. Things to do. Pray for me and my family if do that sort of thing. Strength and protection from our Lord Jesus. Later guys.
