The weather can’t make up it’s mind. It was chillier than normal for spring for the longest time, then it went to HOLY HANNAH it’s hot, and now we’re back to cold. I even had to layer up for work today. Seems strange for it to be like this in June. But then, we did go camping in Algonquin for Father’s Day the year we moved to Canada and had to put on every piece of clothing that we took with us because the temp dropped to 30F, 0C. Cycles I guess.
There was a lunch celebration gathering at work today and I opted not to go. Not in the mood for socializing. Plus, co-worker that’s driving me nuts was going to be there and I REALLY didn’t want to spend more time with her if I didn’t have to. So I plugged in the earphones, turned on some Queen and went on my merry way like the diligent little button pusher I am (lol).
I feel like a real bitch because the co-worker pushes my buttons and she brings out parts of my inner self that I truly don’t like. I don’t like looking at someone and wanting to scream when I see their face, and that’s where I am with her. She does crap all day, socializes with the whole office and screws up all her work in the meantime. I have to review her work and I was returning it to her for corrections at one time, but now I have to check them and escalate her errors to my boss. Not sure what’s going on there. I’m sure time will tell.
‘R’ and our friend put down new wood floors in our living room and dining room last month and they look really nice. A beautiful dark wood. And now, as I type this, ‘R’ is putting down a nice new red thick pile area rug. Me likey :)
Guess I need to figure out what to do for dinner. TTFN
