Now I'm thumbing an entry during a slow close to work. Not a medium conducive to prolonged rumination on world affairs. I wonder what my thumbed words per minute might be.

My quasi bro in law (new hubby of gf's sis) surprised me by seeming to be serious when he said Wednesday you can't cherry pick the bible, that it's all true. He. Had a tone like he was preaching to the choir. I pointed out how even the Easter story is told by different gospels in wildly contradictory ways, so either god is inconsistent, the devil wrote the bible, or fallible humans pieced it together getting stuff wrong and making up shit up to suit their own purposes.
I hate Jim Cramer. We have CNBC on all day long and even on mute he comes across as a preening asshole. I had a woman call in to say she needs help getting into her brokerage account so she could buy something Cramer recommended. A sign of my professionalism is I helped her do it and didn't say a single bad thing about Cramer. That show pony is on right now but I'm about off.
