weight loss challenge in Life

hey there! sorry it’s been awhile. i’ve been super busy with work and the baby.

so i have 40lbs to loose. not terrible, but still a lot to loose. i got a fitbit a couple of weeks ago and I’m really loving it. the teachers at my school are starting a fitness challenge too, so i signed up for that. the person who looses the most wins $500!! i really could use that cash, so here we go! last weigh in is june 1st. 2 months to loose as much as i can.

life been good. busy and sometimes stressful, but good. its been difficult trying to balance everything. theres always too much to do and not enough time to do it. i have to say that since I’ve been eating a little better and working out more (even if its just going for a walk) i feel better. I’m sleeping more soundly and I’m not as tired at work. so hopefully this challenge will help keep me on track. I haven’t had any issues at work, even though it’s that time of the year when the kids start getting crazy.

next week is the ELA test and the week after is the math test. we had a pep rally today for testing. yup…you read that correctly. we had a pep rally for testing. i think its sick and terrible. we need to get the kids excited to take a 3 day long test. ridiculous! it should be one day for each test. thats it. these are little kids! they don’t need to be tested for 3 days straight on one subject. we didn’t even do that in high school! i think the max was 2 days. sigh anyway…stepping off my soap box.

just trying to focus on getting all my stuff done at work, getting healthy and loosing this weight and spending time with my boy. speaking of which, time to go! baby is up from his short nap.
