My God, this whole microsoft thing came to a head today. I came home thursday and said, that’s it I’m going to start getting my writing done. I sat down and was immediately frustrated. I couldnt do any corrections on my story, ans I had to handwrite all the corrections. I’m not complaining at all about that. I said to my Wife, I cannot work like this. I just became very sullen.

Then the Lord put this in my heart. I called my Sis in law and asked if I could use the wifi. From there, I knew I could install the microsoft office. Card not activated, the screen read. I paid $70, and I wasnt upset yet. I went to Wal-Mart thinking I could get a store credit because I couldnt use it, and get another one to work. They tell me I have to call microsoft because they cant deactivate the card. I call them, whats the activation code on my email they ask. I get off the phone with them, get the code talk to this woman and everything should be fine.

I go back to my Mom in law’s house, and try to register it, code not accepted. I have a $70 card I cant use. I was about to blow my stack. I go onto the microsoft site right then and there, buy a new one and download it. Now I have it on the laptop and I can write. Tomorrow, I will setup the printer.

The old card I didn’t have the receipt to. So, I will write a letter to microsoft, and include the receipt on my email and the other card I’ll make a copy of. I WILL get a cheque in my hand for the $70 they owe me.

The end result is I’m happy with being able to do my writing now the way that I’ve been wanting to. Tomorrow nite, I’m setting everything up, I can’t wait. Five more weeks of school, nine more of my old job on the weekends, then two months off…

The other news, my Wife’s Kirby vacuum needs a part that’ll cost $51. Manchester United is playing for the FA cup on 06 May. We’ll be at the fish and chips place watching the match....

Oh, and thank you to my New York Rangers on another sterling playoff performance. 22 Years and counting…

God Bless you Prince, thank you so much for the memories you left behind for us. Rest in peace.

Cheers,
Cbj
