Warm Welcome in The New Normal I Don't Want

I wanted to take the time to thank you all for the warm welcome. I hope to reply to each one of your comments at some point.

It was a busy weekend. I was surrounded by family that felt like a warm blanket. Much like the 1st week after David died. So, I’ve been ‘content’ – a lull in the waves.

This is going to sound weird, but part of that lull is because I’ve had to disconnect myself yet again as I am busy liquidating and packing up David’s office. We officially closed last Thursday, so I’ve been tying up loose ends and starting to pack up. Move day is April 30. The ONLY way to get through is to block out why I’m doing it. Not healthy, I know, but I’ve already prepared myself that the grieving will really start on May 1. (For him and for the office.)
