I finally got around to renting a small uhaul truck, and got our furniture out. We had a dual recliner, and an old liveseat and two storage tower things. We took them over to the dump to get rid of them. It felt really good to do that. It was the last piece left from my late Wife, that loveseat. I just have some pictures left now. Well, our bed is from our relationship too. We’ll get a new one next thing.
We need a coffee table and an end table. We also need that tv stand that we saw at big lots today, ha ha. One thing I’ve never had is new furniture. We went to big lots and found this gorgeous beige coloured sofa and recliner for $1,200. We were thinking of getting one piece today then the other at the end of the month. Then we went to American Furniture Warehouse.
We ended up getting a beautiful beige coloured sectional, two pieces with a chaise lounger. Then we picked out an area rug. We spent $688 on that. Only one problem, it won’t be delivered until tuesday next week. So we have a swivel chair and a kitchen chair in the living room. The kitties are a bit freaked out lol.
Now we have to get the curtain rods that she wants me to put up for us. I need to replace the broken mini blinds too, I count six.
We went to the Improv last nite, and saw these two really funny comedians. The headliner was John Henton, who was on living single. Had a blast, laughed our asses off, then our friends and we went to olive garden for a late nite dinner.
