I'm still using the EP3, despite the fact that it's feeling a bit aged compared to the EPL-6 I bought Caffeine for her birthday, and I can see a couple of hot pixels popping up. But there've been a few changes: I've started to manipulate ISO, and I bought a new telephoto lens (40-150mm, which translates to a 80-300mm equivalent in full-frame), with some interesting results:
I can photograph people who don't realise I'm there. Good news, since students start hamming up when they see my lens pointed their way:

When I combine it with the motorised mount the school uses,

I can do some pretty awesome things. In this case, I photographed Jupiter and its moons, but the clouds came in before I could take it further.

I've also had to learn to adjust ISO with it, in a way that wasn't necessary with the F1.7 that's my standby, with pretty cool results:

I'm still using the F1.7, although I've been informed (and tested this to be so) that, just like focal lengths, F numbers get doubled for Micro 4/3.
But. I get pretty cool stuff, especially now that Xueling is older and my parents are back in Singapore, allowing me to stay up later.

Of course, when all's said and done, my

favourite

photographic subject

hasn't changed.
Well. She's changed:

The fact that she's my favourite photographic subject hasn't.
One last shot of street photography:

and two of my usual obsession with texture photography and especially falling water:

and we're done for the start of 2014.
I'm especially looking forward to more astrophotography as the sky gets clearer towards the middle of the year, at least until Indonesia catches fire again.
