February 25, 2016 The Car is Home! in February 2016

I am sitting here waiting for my little Smart car to come home! The guy I talked to yesterday said it will probably be this morning rather than this afternoon so I hope he knows what he is talking about. I have the check for $13.60 all ready to give whoever brings it back.

I haven’t checked my mailbox for a few days so it would be nice if my new card is there this morning. Then I will have to change my information for Amazon and for my cell phone. Having to do this will most certainly encourage me to put the card away in the right place whenever I use it again!

Judy will be here this afternoon. She didn’t come yesterday as she usually does because the weather was so bad. Actually, it turned out to be not as bad as we were told it was going to be. There were rain and high winds. The only place I can hear these things is in the bedroom and as I went to bed early and read for a couple of hours, I heard a lot of it. Jake sent me an email to tell me he had got home safely and the power was still on at his house.

Same day–later It is 11:30 AM and my little Smart car is home. As well as doing what I asked, which was to fix the back deck and do the state inspection, they also checked the tires which I meant to ask them to do since the dashboard was telling me low tire pressure AND cleaned the inside and outside of the car which I never expected. The car looks like new now. The only thing I have to do is to put some more gas in it since I am down to the last quarter!

It is slightly chilly now, around 50 degrees but there is a lot of gusting wind along with the sunshine.
