So, we went out yesterday and did some mountain driving, and everything went well on my part. Today, we went out and did some city driving and I had a good time of it, Then we went out in the afternoon and drove a route, Then. later on just before we left for the day my trainer took me aside and said that he thought that I wasn’t ready to go out and drive on my own. I processed that real quick and thought about a whole bunch of things.
So now, I am going to be an assistant for a little while. I have my Cdl already, I’m waiting for it to come in the mail. So now, I come in the morning and help the driver with the students and the special needs students. Wheelchairs, safety vests, restraints and whatnot. So I lose about $4 an hour there.
You know, there’s a lot of things running through my mind, My faith in the Lord is not one of them. I’ll have to take the training class again. The thing is that I already have is my Cdl license. I won’t have to deal with the road test and whatnot.
My Wife is going to apply over the summer for the same position I’ll be doing for the next little while. We’ll be in the same class and then I’ll be ready. The next training class is in the summer. I’m still going to go ahead and put the money in the bank like I have planned. I’m not working in the summer. I’m taking those two months off.
I looked earlier at everything, and If I work like I am now until the end of May then we’ll be fine. I’m paying our wedding rings off at the end of next month. The other things I will pay off this month. We will be debt free by the end of next month, because nobody can keep me from what I want.
I think that this how the Lord is saying He wants it worked out. We both work in the same place. She doesn’t have to drive and pick me up,. We go home at the same time. Have the same days and weekends off. By next May when we leave for California. I’ll have 1 !/2 years of being on the job. I can do anything I want after we get to California. The first choice of course would be doing the same thing, being a school bus driver.
I’m not worried about a thing.
Cheers,
Cbj
