Good morning! As I may have mentioned before, Thursday is my favorite days since the apartment is clean and I don’t have to be social with anyone!

There are some things I have to do today and the first one is to call the Mercedes-Benz people and get them to do something about the back of my little Smart car which is not shutting properly. The part that drops down is opened by pressing a little knob on one side or the other. Now it needs both knobs. And the glass part doesn’t click shut when it is pulled down so the back isn’t locked down. Very annoying. And while they have it, they can get the yearly inspection done. They have been pretty good about letting me have another car to use so I hope this will happen this time, too.

I am really irritated by the people at the office here. I had four packages from Amazon yesterday. Two of them I expected. There were pink slips from the mailman in my box when I picked up my mail and so when I went to the office to pick them up, they gave me two packages. I hadn’t checked the delivery dates from Amazon for a while so I went back to check and there were two other packages which, according to Amazon had been delivered two WEEKS ago! I called the office, told them what Amazon was saying about delivery dates and asked them politely to check for me and they said they would.

Then, about an hour later, there was a knock on my door and when I checked, there was no one there except the two packages! No comment, no apologies… I had been up to the office to collect other packages twice in the time these packages had been there. Now, I don’t know what their system for organizing the many the packages they get daily is, or even if they have one but if they have one, it isn’t working. I DO realize I have to take some of the blame since I didn’t check when I was supposed to get these, but it certainly isn’t all my fault.

And talking about being irritation, I am annoyed with myself for buying six large plastic freezer storage boxes from Amazon without checking the size. I am not even sure they will fit on the shelves of my freezer! I am not going to send them back because I have already decided that I can use then in the walk-in closet for clothing used at different times of the year and for storing blankets and the summer duvets, but that is not what I planned to use them for. I am seeing a trend here. I obviously have to pay more attention to details.

Tentative plans for the day have making risotto in the IP as part of it.

hate making mistakes like that. one of my 'resolutions' for this year and beyond is to start paying better attention to what i'm doing. glad you got your packages. take care,

I love Amazon but I have learned to read the descriptions over very carefully , read the reviews over and only order Prime .

Well, the fact that these were too big for what I wanted to use them for is no one's fault except mine, and oddly enough, I usually DO check measurements! I already have plans to use them usefully. They were also prime as are most things I order.
