If Leo does not get acknowledgement from the Academy it would be an utter disgrace and DISRESPECTt!!!!!!!!!!!!! It would be a bunch of BS. This role seems like it was written for Leo. He has been snubbed for years now. Titanic, The Departed, Gatsby, Inception, Catch Me If You Can, Blood Diamond, Gangs of New York, This Boy’s Life. ------------ I can go on. I have adored Leo since the beginning. While I think he is hot-------outside of hotness he deseves a nod for this role!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the kind of movie where no talking is allowed! You have to be only focused on the movie because you will miss a part. It is dramatic and very serious.
It is historical, there are some serious scenes in this movie including an epic battle scene Leo (Glass) has with a bear. It is by far one of the most intense fight scenes between animal versus human. BLEW me away!!!!!!!!!!!
Besides the entire background of the movie and how the scenes are acted out its raw. To me it is as if they have taken you seriously back into time to show you about war about being a pioneer, having moments alone on the frontier. It is about survival of the fittest. It is about revenge. You feel like you are on the front lines here! There are also other parts about the movie that I will not spoil. Other symbolic moments.
This is the kind of movie you cannot leave your seat at all as you will miss an important part. Go to the bathroom and get popcorn prior to. DO not leave the theater! :)
