Still not pregnant. Getting quite discouraged. I really expected this to go easier than it is..Chloe was so easy to conceive that I didn’t expect so much effort into creating a sibling for her. I always wanted my children close together, I waited a year because the doctor recommended a year between pregnancies to ensure proper healing. Chloe will be 18 months this coming weekend yet there is no baby coming anytime soon. I know when I stop trying/stressing it will happen but it’s VERY hard to stop stressing.
Chloe is about to be 18 months and wild as ever. She is funny, loud, sweet and sassy. She talks a ton. She is using the toilet when she wants (3-5 times most days), eating everything, jumping, running, dancing, and prancing around. She loves hide and seek and is FINALLY stating to like TV. We are on a “Mickme” kick (Mickey Mouse). She loves that damn mouse and his songs.
Husband is fantastic even when we argue. I love him and am thankful for him daily. He does drive me insane at times but nothing that cannot be handled, discussed and fixed with a bit of effort.
Work…I’ll do bullets….
D is a 17yr old student, very troubled, associated with a gang, lots of legal issues, very quiet, slight learning disability, lives with relatives/not parents…came to school 2 weeks ago and looked very upset. His mother was murdered…found dead on her floor in Philly by his 7yr old 1/2 brother. Door was broken down, she was dead…most likely s drug deal gone bad he said.
T just got back from a long-term suspension (30 days). He has an ankle bracelet from multiple legal issues. He’s not adjusting well to being back.
M a sweet 17yr old boy…found dead Saturday morning. His parents said he went to sleep and never woke up…his friends say he overdosed on heroin. He was well liked, sweet boy, great potential.
L is a senior (I don’t personally teach her), got into a bad car accident on her way home from work last week. It was not her fault according to police reports. Somebody hit her car by running a stop sign or traffic light. She has undergone multiple surgeries and has a ruptured spleen, organ damage, many broken bones. They are hopeful she will pull through.
Our one assistant principal is being insane lately. Nobody knows why she is in a terrible mood and going after teachers but she is.
J is a sweet Autistic student that is being accused of stalking a female student according to the crazy assistant principal mentioned above…nobody else sees it. He’s so stressed and doesn’t know what is socially acceptable. This makes it so much worse.
*Our math specialist is driving me insane. No way to explain her other than she is a perfectionist and that is rough with these students. They obviously have other priorities right now.
I’m debating going to NY for Easter break. I’ll decide as it gets closer and I can see what the weather will be like there and here.
