Awesome Day.. in The days in the life

Today was our first wedding anniversary, and I wanted it to be special. We spent this morning watching How Stella got her groove back. I started talking to Valerie about going to Jamaica. Then I started looking at the real estate market there, pretty nice I must say… We’re still on track to move to NE California at the end of this year. I am so excited about that because my gosh, I’d really love to see my beloved Sf Giants play at at&t Park.

Anyways, the first stop was to Dunkin Donuts, we got some coffee and a donut each. I knew about her resolution not to eat sweets, but I told her that today is a special occasion and all bets were off. Then we went over to the Hallmark store to get a card for each other. While we were there we picked up this really beautiful keepsake ornament for 75% off, and some Christmas cards. From there we went to the Café where we had our first date. We had a really nice lunch and my eyes and my heart told her how much I love her.

From there we went over to the picture house and saw The Intern. That was a really sweet movie. She’s the hand that I’m holding, my Wife of mine. She’s the one I’m growing old with. She’s gonna watch my hair turn grey. She’s the conversation that I want to have until deep into the early parts of the mornings. She’s the characters that I want to write into my stories that I secretly base on her. I’d lay down my life for her. I want my last breath to be in her arms. I want every moment of my life to be spent with her. She’s my everything. Everything that I want and need is with her and her alone.

When they lay this man down into the ground in my urn, It’s gonna be with my boots on. They’ll say that I fought the good fight, I lived the way the Lord wanted me to, and I loved and was loved by the most amazing woman that this world will ever know. I can live a hundred lifetimes and never come across a woman like my Wife. She’s everything to me. I’ve spent everyday thanking her for picking little old me to be her Husband. I’m the luckiest man in the world.
