January 2016 - fitness plan in Fitness and Exercise

Now that I’ve made it onto my roller derby B-team, I’m going to have to take my health and fitness seriously and do a lot more off skates training. So I’ve come up with a sort of plan. At the beginning of each month, I’m going to plan my exercise each day. As I work different shifts at work, it will have to be worked around this. Sometimes I can’t make roller derby derby training because it’s too early or too late. I have to look at the timetable for the local swimming pool to see which sessions I can make around work. Each plan is subject to change of course, as roller derby games come up, I might or might not be able to do some of it or might feel like doing something different that day. But a rough plan is a good base point.

It will start off red at the beginning of the month and change to black as I complete each thing.

I’m also going to track my weight, as I want to lose about a stone / 14lb, and wish to lose a few inches of fat off my belly and replace it with muscle.

You don’t have to read anything from this book, it’s mainly for my benefit, but I figure I might be more likely to stick to it if it’s out there in the public domain and I’m being watched by you all!

So day one is today (yeah I know I already missed a day, but New Year’s Day is for being lazy haha.) Here is January’s spreadsheet as it stands, I’ll post it again at the end of the month to see how it’s changed.

Yeah, I'm not going for the full time, I've just put down what time the "open" sessions are!
