Frozen (2013) in Movies

This cold little animated film has such a wonderful way of melting your heart. In some strange way it seemed like a fairytale X-Men: Origins film for a character that never made it to the comic books. In others, it seemed like an old 50s Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, though the pop sound that emanated from every single song got a little dreary. I felt like I was listening to 90s Christian radio at times (did Rebecca St James do the soundtrack?)... couple that with villains you never have any fear of, and this one feels a bit lightweight. But still a crowdpleaser!
