Today’s advent calendar task was to decorate a gingerbread house. We didn’t bake it this time though, we bought the gingerbread ready made.

Did you create your advent calendar with all the activities or do you actually have one that you bought or one you found that was pre made and that you follow?

I made a fabric one when Talaia was a baby. It has pockets for each day. I used to put little fun toys in but as they've got older they have got a little bored with them so last year we food a good deed for someone each day, from making cookies for a neighbour to leaving money in a vending machine to donating luxury goods and sanitary items to our local food bank. This year I made it about doing stuff together which wag also fun. X
