Jacob and I have survived the round of stomach virus and I've used bleach and disinfect spray in every room and washed everything possible with bleach to kill the evil bug. Hopefully it is dead!! I was a bit snarky in the last entry and I'm sorry to have been so hateful. I was still reeling from our back to back days of sick and I did tell Dude and Dudette they could come back down this weekend. Dudette said she and the kids were going to stay home this afternoon so she could disinfect her house. I'm surprised she hadn't done that already, but better later than never I guess. Seems like all are over the bug and some had a worse case than others. I am pretty sure Jacob and I had the worst cases, and thankfully I think we kept from spreading it any further.
Dude is down and has taken Jacob deer hunting this afternoon. Jacob was so excited and I hope he doesn't get too cold. It is much colder today than it was last Sunday as you didn't even need a jacket last Sunday. Today you need a coat, a hat and gloves. Brrrrr. Snow and freezing rain are in the forecast for tomorrow and I'm praying it doesn't accumulate on anything but especially the roads. Hate HATE freezing anything!
I finally returned to work on Friday and the day just flew by. I was so terribly busy since I'd been out for 3 days. I ended up working almost an hour OT, but I can't get OT (no money) so it was my gift to the government for being out for 3 days. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do. Still have an ongoing problem with a program that we have to use and a different plan of action in on the table for tomorrow. I certainly hope it works as the frustration level is almost mind blowing for a lot of us in several different areas. it shouldn't be this hard to get the funds needed but it is and has been ever since they changed the process. Everyone knows it has this glitch, but no one seems to be able to fix it. Resembles the issues with the healthcare website and I believe the same bunch may have built both systems.
I've cleaned until I'm tired of cleaning and that included floors, rugs, and anything loose that could be washed. I even washed a plastic tablecloth to see if I could get some discoloration out of it and by joe it worked. Bleach is a wonderful thing!!
Humm, just noticed that my little font, color, etc bar at the top is missing. Now I wonder if this will post. Will copy and save into Word before I save it, just in case it doesn't. Might even crosspost in PB, just cause I haven't posted there in a while. I still am not fond of PB but will continue my account there and again, just in case.
I've got dishes to do and a kitchen that needs some attention so will end this entry and call it done.
