Today has been one of the more causal days. We decided to stay in and just kind of hang out. We went out for an early dinner at the buffet. Yesterday we got our Christmas tree. It’s a five foot white artificial tree. I was so jazzed because it’s the first tree I’ve ever had. We went out after eating and got a wreath hanger for the wreath on our front door. We’ve got the tree skirt and some ornaments. It’s pretty cool. We’re just starting out with this for this Christmas We have one Dickens Village lighted building. I want to get two more before its all said and done this year. I love those because my Mom had those when we were growing up.
Today, I finally did the last little bit of purging that I’ve been neglecting. I got rid of a whole bunch of old paperwork, and I think it’s time that I finally donated the last piece of my late Wife’s clothing that I’ve been holding onto, her favourite nitegown. I’m going to donate some clothes and coats and then I’ll be down to just what I need.
We found three stockings at the thrift store for the kitties for Christmas and we’re going to get them some things. We’re cleaning out the other bedroom for them so that they can have their own room and we can get some new furniture. That’s the next thing that we’re going to be doing. Getting rid of the old stuff that I’ve had forever before my Wife and I got together. Kina, needs a Sister, She’s our only female kitty, She’s had enough of her gooferhead Brothers I think. ha ha.
