The animation, especially in regards to nature, is lovely, like seeing calligraphy used to make things breathe. The story is both touching and vaguely creepy. You almost want to root for the two of them before realizing, "This is basically the Mary Kay Letourneau" story. (though facts being what they are, when Vili, the student victim, reached the age of 21, he got the restraining order reversed and married her; as of now, they've been married for eight years and counting, and should they make it seven more, they'll have equalled the amount of time she was married to her previous husband, Steve... thanks, wikipedia; they also DJd and hosted a 'Hot for Teacher' fundraiser... sooo... yeah. BTW- She's my parents age and he's currently late 20s... so I think we're about to see how eternal that love is...)
But this short film! Yes... honestly, there's not much to it. It's 45 minutes long, so it counts as a feature, in the technical sense, though in my opinion, features are an hour long at least, so this one is in that no man's land territory. They should have 3 separate categories for fictional narratives: short films, feature films, and movellas! (30-70 minutes).
