A Prayer to Begin My Day in Prayers

Holy Lord, blessed is Your Name over all creation, and blessed Your Son Jesus, Whose name is higher than any other in earth.
Forgive me Lord of my sins. Help me to daily take up my cross and follow my Lord Jesus as He commanded.
That wherever He leads, I shall follow. Give me wisdom like Solomon, strength like Sampson, faith like Abraham, and love like Jesus.
Stand with me in the face of my enemies, watch over me in the storms, guide me on the path that is straight and narrow.
For to You, o Father, all glory belongs, through Christ Jesus our Lord, and by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
