Three viewings this week already. Once again the first one gave the feedback “the kitchen was too small”!! What do these people want to do in the kitchen? Have a banquet? It’s a KITCHEN, there is a seperate dining room. Some people talk of downsizing and then look for the same amount of space they already have.
Sorry, little rant there. The next two all made the right noises actually praising how much space there was for a bungalow. AND both couples have already sold so are in a good situation to move quickly. Fingers crossed.
My field-based team has all been called down to Head Office next tuesday. We’re sure that it is to be told there will be more lay-offs. Obviously , I’m not too bothered, but I’d rather it was later and on MY terms not theirs! (Don’t want much do I?)
This week I have done absolutely nothing, then true to form, I am out every day next week again! That seems to be the way it’s going at the moment. My colleagues are similar as well, so I’m not alone. It will be interesting to see if they actually earmark someone to go, or ask for volunteers.
Furby, the “baby” Lhasa, had the snip last week. Dawn had to go and pick him up early because he wasn’t settling. He’s not been away from us for so long, in a strange environment. Seperation anxiety! First couple of days were pretty grim as he bruised quite a bit. But he had his stitches out today, was as good as gold and is running and jumping around like a loon! Bless him. Hasn’t quietened him down at all.
Brit weather keeps swinging back and forth at the moment. Wet n rainy today, tomorrow is supposed to be cloudy but dry. Temperatures are amazingly warm for the end of October. Forecasters saying it’s going to be a white christmas.......... again! I hope we’ll be down in Cornwall by then.
