Right, all viewings done. Out of the 5 only one really suited. In fact, it’s two places for one price! There’s a main bungalow (for Dawn and Me) nd a one-bderoomed annexe (for Lee). There’s one or two things that need doing to make it 100%, but it’s virtually there.
It was one of those moments when you walkin a place and think “Yeah, this has a nice feel” straight away. There was one other that had a similar feel, but there would be too many compromises with that one. This one there are no compromises, just things we would done differently for us, but it is a place we can move straight into.
I was giving Dawn and Lee running reports throughout the day, and before I knew it, Lee told me he’d made an offer that had been accepted! He’d phoned the estate agent after my report and found out that an offer had been made on the property but those buyers were not in a situation to go ahead ASAP like we are. So in the end the offer we made was less than the others but was accepted because we could go ahead straight away. Sooooo we are now the proud owners of a property in Cornwall!!!! (See link!)

Tomorrow (saturday) I am going to see Vicki for a few hours. Saw her at lunch today, but spending more time tomorrow. I shall leave around 4PM to head back home, arriving around 10 PM.
Sunday we will be going to see the grandkids and break the news to them. Not looking forward to that much. Monday I will be handing my notice in. That will be for 4 weeks, with the proposed move 6-8 weeks away. I have been contacted by 2 editors this week so that is all going well too. I am excited to say the least.
